Community College Path

Pass most of your End of Course Exams

Take the Compass or Asset Tests

Understand your disability

Know / use accommodations

Know strengths and Interests

Self Advocate / Use self Determination Tools

Understand goal setting

Do career exploration

Understand that success can be achieved with in many ways

Be aware of requirements for entrance into a Community College

Understand the difference between an Associates and Bachelors Degrees and Certification

Trade / Technical Schools Path

Take Special Ed. or General Ed courses for core classes

Be involved in CTE classes

Attempt all End of Course Exams

Understand your disability

Know / use accommodations / modifications

Know your strengths and Interests

Practice Self Advocacy / Self Determination Tools

Seek opportunities to explore careers

Understand success is different for everyone

Be aware that many people graduate and obtain good paying jobs when they have training and received certification
