Dr. Todd White Selected as Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Schools

The Mathis Independent School District is excited to announce the selection of a lone finalist for the position of Superintendent of Schools. After careful consideration of numerous applications from highly qualified candidates, we are proud to present Dr. Todd White as our exceptional choice to lead Mathis I.S.D.
Dr. White brings over 33 years of experience in education, having served in various roles including teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent. He currently holds the position of Superintendent at Santa Anna ISD, where he has been recognized as Superintendent of the Year for ESC Region 15.
Dr. White earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Secondary Science Teaching Endorsement from Colorado State University in 1987. He later obtained a master’s degree in educational administration from the University of Texas in 2010 and completed his Doctorate in Education at Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2023.
Along with his wife and children, Dr. White is looking forward to joining the Mathis I.S.D. family and become an integral part of the community.
